This project highlights I-Material specialization in delivering bespoke, high-end furniture and architectural cladding for luxury hospitality spaces. The work focused on designing and fabricating custom pieces that blend vintage style and contemporary Art Deco aesthetics, tailored to the chic, sophisticated atmosphere of the Pier 88 Restaurant.
A comprehensive suite of tables and service pieces was created, featuring unique material combinations and design techniques. The dining tables showcase unique surfaces such as those with a striking dark, patterned finish that appears to incorporate colored metals, resin, or decorative glass, often with geometric or honeycomb motifs.
Bespoke wall cladding designs were created to define the restaurant’s perimeter and create a sophisticated, modern ambiance. In addition to that, custom architectural panelling and cladding were installed throughout the space. The design focused on contemporary aesthetics, providing a sleek, textured backdrop that complements the decorative furniture.
